Integrating Asset Development and Financial Stability into Disaster Recovery Case Management

Description

When Catholic Charities took the lead in developing a regional Disaster Case Management (DCM) System after the devastating 2017 wildfires we were able to use our robust financial stability programs and dynamic database to integrate financial wellness tools into the case management, recovery, and financial assistance process. We included the work in our DCM training and have built all of our systems and tools to be scalable and usable by all communities going forward for future disasters in CA.
